چکیده
The present study utilizes soil water balance and HYDRUS-1D for estimating predicting potential recharge in groundwater declining region of central Punjab, respectively. A field experiment was conducted at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Two treatments viz direct-seeded (DSR) transplanted rice (TPR) with three replications, were sown/transplanted during kharif season 2019. amount applied through rainfall/irrigation recorded bottom flux measured using frequency domain reflectometry (FDR) then predicted order to assess which further compared deep percolation determined balance. performance the evaluated RMSE, NSE, R2 found be performing well. paired t-test (t = 1.28 t 1.30 TPR DSR, respectively) non-significant P 0.05 showed correspondence between estimated parameters. percentage change 0.7% 2.32% revealed that there 9% saving 14.6% more (cumulative flux) DSR as may potentially contribute recharge.

The most important impacts of climate change relate to temperature and precipitation. Precipitation is particularly important, because changes in precipitation patterns may lead to floods or droughts in different areas. Also, precipitation is a major factor in agriculture and in recent years interest has increased in learning about precipitation variability for periods of months to annual and s...
متن کاملInvestigating the interaction between rivers and sand dunes in arid and semi-arid regions of Iran
Extended abstract 1- Introduction Fluvial and aeolian processes are important factors in changing the surface of morphology in the Earth. When rivers and sand dunes meet, the transportation of sediment between them can lead to one of the systems or both of them change. With their connection between river sediment and wind systems there would be lots of reactions, but very little has been st...

Abstract A significant deficiency of most computer models used for stream floodplain analysis is that the locations of structures impacted by floodwaters, such as bridges, roads, and buildings, cannot be effectively compared to the floodplain location. This research presents a straightforward approach for processing output of the HEC-RAS hydraulic model, to enable two- and three dimensional f...
